Ho, there, young one. Where are you off to in such a hurry? Here at the Livery, apprentices need to be either on official Keeper business or they need to be elsewhere. If you have permission to be here, I must ask that you present me a Keeper coin. |
The Circle of Stone and Shadow - This is the semi-official fan community site. Ran by the ever-hard-working Digital Nightfall and crew, this site has just about everything a Thief fan could want.
Through the Looking Glass - This is the fan community site for games created or inspired by Looking Glass Studios (the creators of Thief).
Thief Underground - A rather large site featuring tons of information about Thief FMs (fan-made missions) and DromEd (the Thief game editor).
Lytha's Thief Collection - This site hasn't been updated for quite some time, but it still has some of the best Thief content out there. Lytha was once considered one of the Thief masters - few could play the game like she could.
Eidos Thief: The Dark Project Site - This is the official site created by Eidos for Thief: The Dark Project when it came out. Amazingly, it's still up and offers a nice glance at the beginning of an era.
Eidos Thief Gold Site - This is the official site at Eidos Interactive for Thief Gold. It basically just highlights the features of the Gold version, and offers some wallpapers for download.
Eidos Thief 2: The Metal Age Site - The Eidos official site for Thief 2: The Metal Age. Offers game info, screens & artwork, and downloads.
Eidos Thief Portal - This is basically just a portal site at Eidos where you can choose one of the above three sites.
Thief 3: Deadly Shadows - This is the official site for Thief 3: Deadly Shadows, designed and operated by the developer Ion Storm.
Eidos Interactive - This is the aforementioned Eidos Interactive site, the official home of Eidos Interactive on the web.
Note: All of the really nice official sites were operated by Looking Glass Studios, the developers of Thief 1, Thief Gold, and Thief 2. Sadly, those sites closed along with Looking Glass in 2000.
Amazon.Com - The Internet's largest online bookstore, Amazon also sells software. This link will bring you to a search of the Software section for the term "thief".
Sold-Out Software - A UK company which releases older software titles. They offer Thief 1 and 2 for about $15 each.
Note: Thief 1 and 2 can usually be found at local software dealers, sometimes as a 2-in-1 deal. If you're looking to buy online, I would recommend going out to Google and entering the terms "buy thief" or some such. You'll find all kinds of prices on them.
Omegacron - The parent site of the Keeper's Compound, Omegacron is the personal site of Jacob Wilson and includes sections on Mighty Max, Jesus, Star Wars, Transformers, Games, and more!
GameFAQs - includes walkthroughs, cheats, release information, and more for thousands of games (including the Thief ones).
